After 18 months of suspended activity, we were all delighted to finally reconvene in one place.

We had intended to initiate Nigel, our newest member, in April 2020 but those plans, like those of so many other people and organisations, fell by the wayside as pandemic restrictions were applied. As Grand Lodge rules mean that our October 2021 meeting must be taken up with installing our new Master, we decided to hold an ‘extraordinary’ meeting in September, in the unique setting of Guy’s Cliffe in Warwick.

The crypt lodge room at Guy’s Cliffe is most unusual in that it has a pillar in the centre of the floor, which required us to make some adjustments to the normal ceremonial – but all went well with Nigel’s Initiation and everyone was very pleased to have had the opportunity to meet in such an interesting venue.
