Our October 2021 meeting was the first at Freemasons’ Hall in Covent Garden since the onset of the pandemic. It was wonderful to be back – simply to walk through the doors and take in the unique atmosphere of the building, which was originally built in the 1920s as a memorial to all those Freemasons who lost their lives in the Great War.
October is our annual Installation month so it seemed fitting that our return coincided with installing Graham into the Chair for a second time: a new Master as we look to the future. Our very grateful thanks are also due to Iain as outgoing Master – at his Installation in October 2019 nobody would have expected the global disruption to life we experienced over the last 18 months. He has kept us all engaged and in contact throughout the absence from the Hall, as well as presiding over our splendid meeting at Guy’s Cliffe last month.
